SunGold Stables in Bethany CT, Is a state of the art facility with a large indoor riding arena with 20' ceilings and all pine walls. Our rustic design makes for an open, bright riding environment for horse and rider. It is warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer unlike the standard “warehouse” type arenas found in older stables. The footing in the walkways is a state-of-the-art rubber pavers which creates deep cushion comfort for your and your horse.

Our stall barn is of the finest quality and safest design for your horse. The stall barn connects to the indoor arena, eliminating the need to go outdoors in inclement weather. All stalls are 12’ x 12’ featuring Nelson automatic waterers to guarantee your horse never is without fresh water and Houdini latches to assure your horse won't make the "great Escape". A wash stall and a vet/farrier stall are provided for your convenience. Superior ventilation is designed into the barn with functional cupolas and a 14’ aisle way open at both ends.

 

Stalls are European design built with top quality grills, hardware, and wall to wall extra thick matting to ensure comfort for your horse.

 

Our feeding program consists of high quality grains and hays. Because horses digestive systems are healthier with more frequent forage feedings, we feed hay 3-5 times per day.

If you are just watching someone ride, enjoy our climate controlled lounge overlooking the riding arena. A clean rest room is paramount for your comfort.
